His Word. His Promise. His Love.

I've been thinking about my girls in Haiti.
Quite a bit.
I miss them.
So very much.

These verses brings me comfort.
Psalm 121:7-8

The Lord will keep you from all harm-he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

God guards you from every evil, he guards your very life. He guards you when you leave and when you return, he guards you now, he guards you always.
The Message

The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
King James

You already know this but... they are often in my thoughts too. I cannot wait to let them know how very loved and wanted they truly are. And my heart is heavy for you as you must continue to wait. I am sorry it is taking such a very long time. xoxo

We really don't understand Your ways, God... so mysterious... but we know what we ask for and please, we ask You to grant favor here.

Lord, bring the girls to where there are those longing to meet them and bring them to a fun, new environment, where you desire for them to be. Comfort Julies heart, God she wants the girls to be home, home sweet home. Bring them at your time and when its your plan, let it be soon!
Bless the Penn's and give them reassurance that it will be soon, work out the details.

In Jesus' Mighty Name!

Beverly just loves Katie and Yolanta! She likes to look at photos of her friends from NLL ~

Hair care ~ Marissa's hair was much longer than Beverly's is when she moved in. Beverly's was shaved on arrival to the orphanage. No one ever told me why... malnutrition had damaged her locks? Scabies that had been scratched until there were sores? Cradle cap that still plagued the head and was difficult to treat under thick curls? Whatever, her hair is only about 2 inches long all over. When it is freshly washed it springs in tighter. I have gotten a lot of ideas and help from the braiding videos. Additionally, Katie-O has more videos on youtube.

Thanks for visiting my blog!
